Form 16 is a document given to employees by their employer throughout the year that details the salary paid to them and the amount of tax that has been deducted from their paychecks. Form 16 is an important document to file taxes because it shows where taxes were taken from and helps employees correctly file their tax returns or financial returns. Form 16 includes Income earned, allowances, and exemptions, deductions from taxable income, and taxable income calculated by the tax calculator according to tax return rules
