The gender divide is a gap or inequality that exists between men and women (and other gendered identities) with respect to various aspects of their lives, such as access to jobs, pay, opportunities, treatment (including workplace treatment), etc. The gender divide can be found in HR, where it describes differences between males and females (and other gendered identities) with respect to hiring, promotions, salary, and access to leadership roles, often reflecting social, cultural, or organizational biases.
