Legal & Regulatory Considerations

- The Act provides for mandatory benefits under the Employees’ Provident Fund Act, 1952.
- The Act provides for medical and social security benefits under the Employees’ State Insurance Act, 1948.
Other applicable rules are dictated by state-specific employment regulations as well as any employment contract between an employee and their employer.
