Meaning & Definition
A job board is an internet-based tool through which employers advertise their open job positions and candidates search for jobs that match their requirements. The job board serves as a connection between employers who are on the track for talent and candidates who are looking for jobs. Some of the popular job boards used in India are Naukri.com, LinkedIn, Indeed, Shine, and TimesJobs. Job boards can be integrated with ATS as well.

- Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, candidate personal data collected through job portals should be processed responsibly.
- Under the Equal Remuneration Act, 1976, job advertisements should not state any difference in remuneration between men and women for the same job.
