Job hopping refers to the trend of constantly switching jobs, whereby an individual works at an organization for less than one to two years before looking for employment elsewhere. This is popular among millennials and Gen Z workers in India and may be motivated by the need for increased pay, career advancement, skill acquisition, or work culture improvement. Although job hopping used to have negative impacts also, it is now increasingly perceived by many HR experts as a sign of ambition and flexibility.
