Gender Expression
Meaning & Definition
Gender Expression is the way someone presents themself in regards to their gender, including their looks, behaviour, clothing, hair, and speech. Gender expression in a work environment can reflect both the way an employee presents themselves and the way society expects them to present themselves. It is an HR job to create an environment that allows for the expression of gender identity, free from discrimination.
