Diversity and Inclusion in the Workplace (D&I) is the creation of an environment for all employees (regardless of their identities or backgrounds) that is inclusive and equitable. Diversity means different people; inclusion is valuing, respecting, enabling, and allowing every person to be heard and to contribute in an equitable manner in the workplace.

Compliance Requirements
The Constitution of India provides support to promote Diversity and Inclusion through Articles 14, 15 and 16. These Articles guarantee that all persons will be treated equally and prevent discrimination. To support this goal, employers must also comply with the following: Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016; Equal Remuneration Act, 1976; & POSH Act, 2013.
