Bottom-up alignment approach is the process in which employee and team goals, ideas, and feedback move upwards to management in an organization. Individual and team-level objectives will not only be aligned to the organizational goals as set by top leaders; however, there is also a method of encouraging participation, ownership and practical goal-setting that is grounded in the reality of employees and teams.
