Apprenticeship is a type of formal training in which an employee learns practical job skills by working alongside experienced professionals. An apprenticeship program in Human Resources provides organisations with the opportunity to develop a skilled workforce through combining on-the-job training with academic knowledge for a specified period of time.

If an Organisation wants to hire an Apprentice, it must be registered and keep records of all Apprentices working for it and comply with the provisions of this Act.
