Cascading goals are a way to make higher-level or organisational goals measurable by breaking them down into smaller divisions of goals on a departmental, team, and individual level. Higher-level goals of the business are translated into daily activities that must be completed by each level of the employee working towards those goals, to ensure that every employee’s contributions help the overall goal of the organisation.
