Why Company Code of Conduct Matters?

  • Provides clarity on what employees are expected to do.

  • Protects the integrity and reputation of an organization.
  • Provides for consistency in disciplinary actions and other HR-related decisions.

Legal Compliance

In India, no law governs all organisations with a common Code of Conduct. It supports compliance with regulations, such as the POSH Act, 2013, Companies Act, 2013, Industrial Employment (Standing Orders) Act, 1946, and HR-related policies about ethical conduct are in place.
