Meaning & Definition

Form 27EQ is a quarterly report submitted by collectors of Tax Collected at Source (TCS) for specified transactions. The quarterly statement includes the amount of money collected, tax collected, the amount received and details of any buyers. Form 27EQ provides evidence of TCS compliance to the Indian government and enables correct reporting of TCS by sellers (or businesses).
